THE DRAFT.

A three-act cultural release.

Commencing Feb '26.

What Is 'THE DRAFT.'?

The Draft is Diaspora’s way of releasing culture — not all at once, but with intention.

It’s a three-act story told across product, poster, and people.

Each act builds on the last — revealing who we are, where we’re from, and how we move forward.

ACT I — 'THE BRIDGE.'

Act I is about return.

Returning to our roots. Returning to our people. Returning with intention.

One year after our first release, the crown returns — not as nostalgia, but as foundation.

This act reconnects our African heritage with our British reality. It reminds people why Diaspora exists, and who it exists for.

This is where the return begins.

ACT II — 'THE SPACE BETWEEN.'

Act II lives in the space between.

Between heritage and home.

Between what we’re told we are and what we know ourselves to be.

This act explores Black British identity through our unreleased documentary — not as a label, but as a lived experience.

Through conversations, streets, music, and moments we embrace.

This act doesn’t answer what it means to be Black British.

It asks who gets to define it.

ACT III — 'WATERS UNDER OUR BRIDGE.'

Act III is about what we carry forward.

Everything we’ve been through becomes water under our bridge — not forgotten, but transformed.

Pressure becomes clarity. History becomes design. Movement becomes form.

This is where Diaspora becomes something you can hold, wear, and pass on, objects shaped by movement.

Designed to carry what we’ve lived through — not decorate it.
